Judy is a Certified Music Practitioner, certified by the Music for Healing and Transition Program.
She currently works at Sutter Roseville Hospital and Mercy Folsom Hospital as a therapeutic musician. She has served with several hospice organizations and also Citrus Heights Manor Care.
Judy appreciates the need for quiet music to help soothe and quiet people who are anxious, ill, or depressed. She works well at patient bedsides and is also experienced with leading sing-a-longs at rest homes and Alzheimer centers.
Judy has a gift for making “musical visits”. She takes her harp and music to visit individual patients who are bed bound or room bound or just lonely.
Her music can comfort, cheer, or minister for a variety needs. She is also experienced playing for hospice patients.
Judy is a member of Music Partners In Healthcare, a Sacramento area non-profit that promotes healing music in local facilities.
In responding to her music at their bedsides, patients are often eager to share how the music of the harp help them.
